ABOUT THE OXPECKER ULTRA
The Oxpecker Ultra was introduced by dad's passion for longer distance running. The 50km trail is designed for the first time Ultra runner, the trails are based on cattle paths which are always the perfect gradient for running as they meander their ways gently up and down the mountains.
This Oxpecker event is limited to 150 runners creating a smaller, intimate and more focused weekend than our Original Oxpecker events. The event will be heading for it's second year in 2025.
The weekend promises great trails, well stocked water points, unbelievable food for the weekend, comfortable tented accommodation as each runner receives linen and proper beds in their tent and many elements of fun including the final 1km of the run being a tube down the Tugela River to the finish line and afternoon champagne and cake.

Information
The Oxpecker Ultra only allows runners, no walkers.
Rather than having cutoffs in place runners who don't make a certain point by a certain time will be rerouted on a shorter route back to the race village.
This is for the safety of the runners, water table hosts and sweeps.
Please note refunds will be made as per the following dates:
90% until 31 December 2024
50% until the end of February 2025
No refund after this date
