The Oxpecker Trail Run has earned the title of Africa's Favourite Trail Run, and for good reason. This iconic two-day stage race is so much more than a trail run—it's an unforgettable weekend packed with adventure, great company, and plenty of fun.
Race Distances
- Day 1: 21 km
- Day 2: 15 km
With its family-friendly atmosphere and festival-style vibe, the Oxpecker offers something for everyone. Expect bright lights, roaring bonfires, craft beer, Seattle Coffee, and the legendary Saturday evening "stiff-legged jol" where runners celebrate an incredible day on the trails.
A variety of accommodation options are available, including canvas tents in various styles, Oxpecker rooms, and camping. The event also provides excellent facilities and amenities, including hot showers, medical support, sports massages, and secure parking.
